the 2 litre cams give a reported 10bhp increase after that your going o be talking big moneyfit the cams and spend the money on Carbs or Throttle
bodies then a remap
Life is like a bowl of fruit, funny how all the weird looking ones are left alone

What do you run them in 1.8 or 2.0 silvertop? Also do you know where is the cheapest place to buy them? Thanks

2 litre silvertop, i had 2001's in and i wasnt getting anywhere near the figures i was expecting, this could be because the head has been
haevily modified and maybe it flowed to freely for the moderate cam?, changed to the FZ2002 and everything is as is should be, i use mine for racing
so its perfect, the fz2002 will leave a lumpy bottom end and not much happens below 4000 rpm so it will depend on your driving style on the road as to
if it will suit you. i got mine second hand, they do pop up now and again. especcially at this time of year when we all catch upgradeitis

They will if you have an ST170, that is what they are made for.

OK I will make it clear if you have an ST170 they will work as designed, put them in a Blacktop without the VVC kit and they will be totally pointless
since they will not be able to adjust the cam timing to get the best out of them.
Put them in a Silvertop and you will probably wreck the engine unless you do loads of work to change the silvertop to solid tappet operation and then
the VVc gear would still be missing.
Stick with a set of Kent FZ200s's if its a Silvertop and the equivalent Kent cam for the Blacktop, not sure what its called.

Lets start again.
1, will the cams fit mechanically into a Black Top 2 ltr and,
2, will they work with or without the VVT.
ie, is the lift of these 285 cams the same as any other.....

Why not ask the cam manufacturer, since you want to buy cams they will help by selling you the correct ones.
