Manufacturers of classic but modern cars
I know I have seen a few companies over the years (including on Top Gear) which rebuild classic cars with full modern under-pinning and sell them for
a small fortune!? (or build new cars that look like true classics)
Can anyone think of such a company?

This is coming soon I'm told with a fabricated chassis using MX5 front and rear sub frames, not quite a classic I know but thought it worth a
mention.

Isn't there a company who do really nice looking mk1/2 escorts too? Fully space framed etc. As seen in one of the kit car magazines probably 18
months ago?

Lots more details and photo's over here http://www.madabout-kitcars.com/forum/showthread.php?t=3908 building on a spitfire chassis means no
IVA, but the MX5 would make a better donor mechanically.
Seem to be a few 50's style bodies coming out of the woodwork at the moment.
