Do I need a lambda sensor?
My next megasquirt question
Do I actually need to have a lambda sensor for my duratec?
I won't have a cat and I'm on a Q so no emissions test at MOT

You need it for tuning or using the autotune feature in the Tuner Studio software.
But you don't need one for the engine to run, you just tell the MS one hasent been fitted, when you program it.
Duratec Engine is fitted, MS2 Extra V3 is assembled and tested, engine running, car now built. IVA passed 26/02/2016

My car was rolling roaded, I have not connected the sensor since then.
It's worth welding in a bung and cap at this stage as the rolling road will want to screw one in, eBay for £6.50
