respacing itb throttle linkage help!

Hopefully someone might have an idea on how to extend this? Its a bit too close to be easy, but too far apart to be reliable as is

It'll need some sort of thing made to fit in the space I expect, but I can't think what it needs to look like, any ideas/drawing? Even better if someone on here can make it too

how about 2 triangle shaped washers, drilled and wire locked to the tab,... maybe even fold the end of one over to create the same spacing between the springs,...

sketch could be forthcoming if required,.....

Looks like the bracket bit that the adjuster is on is steel? Could cut and weld to correct spacing, or remake the bracket?

All aluminium I think?
Thank you for the suggestions, however as is always the way, you ask for help and end up finding an answer yourself!

I realised I could remove a spacer washer (1.6mm?) And the spacing was still good, and the pin sits right in the middle of the fork. I think its all good!
