Its only been 8 years !!
Some older members may remember this project I started a while ago, fitting a Jaguar XJR6 engine into a 3 series BMW.
Well its all finished and ready for its first track day on the 28th of this month at knockhill.
Engine has been slightly modified with the assistance of an original XJR engineer so should be putting out circa 350 to 375 BHP. Its connected to a 5
speed gertrag box which in turn is connected to an M3 diff via a custom built single piece prop.
Initial tests around the industrial estate trashed the BMW 2 piece prop.
Too much has been done to start listing it all but suffice to say I can't wait to see how she goes on circuit
Figures crossed it all holds together.
Speed is just a question of money !

I remember it, mainly because it's old engine's still sat in my garage 
Looks really good, hope it goes as well as it looks

I'm back on it soon, had to build a new garage before I could carry on with it!!
Got a complete 328i to drop in it now

I'm looking for a trackcar that's a little different and has a roof after a couple of MNRs and a Radical.
I just finished stripping an RX8 today for a tracktoy but I really like the BMW
