What fuel pump/pressure
Hi I'm currently building a westfield bringing it into the modern world.
My question is what fuel pressure/pump do I need to be running for a 1.8 zetec with gsxr 600 throttle bodies controlled with the megasquirt ecu. I
understand I will require a fuel regulator too. The original is a 3 bar pump but from what I've read ill need higher pressure?
Please can someone point me in the right direction
Thanks
Mike

3bar is the standard fuel pressure for injection.

So ill be fine with 3 bar with the throttle bodies or do I need to uprate the pump?

Do the TBs have a fuel return line? Most TBs but not all do. If they have then it'll incorporate a regulator and you'll be fine with 3bar
pump. If not then the original pump would have had pressure reg' and you'll need to fit one.

As far as I inow, uprated Efi pumps are designed to increase flow without increasing pressure.

Yea it's just a single fuel line so need to fit regulator to feed back to tank someone told me Ill be fine with a single feed to the fuel rail
as long as I have a regulator fitted in the circuit feeding back to the tank. Was gonna go for the fse sytec air004 is this the correct 1 for my needs
