Mazda MX5 TPS - Emerald ECU
Guys,
I have a 91 1.6 mx5 engine in my kit, which i'm currently doing a DiY turbo conversion.
I have gone down the route of an Emerald K6 ECU and I'm having issues with the TPS. It is only sending three singals to the ECU, No throttle,
Half and full, is it not progressive. The ECU needs progressive.
From what i understand the MK2 1.8 has a different throttle body with a progressive TPS, this would solve my issues.
Does anyone know if the MK2 1.8 Throttle body is a direct bolt on to the MK1 1.6? Looking at the pictures is it.

I think it's not a straight swap from what I've read. Doug at G19 sells a conversion adapter for a bmw sensor.

Or Im sure I've read somewhere the 1.6 automatic uses a potentiometer rather than a switch aswell.
