Me too. Cracking bit of info for an introduction into the workings of EFI.

Will print it off and keep as a reference.

Apart from the bit about ford EECIV being difficult/impossible to modify.. have been in touch with him - Texas might be getting a new superchips dealer

I have had a go at decoding a EECIV the problem being that each model has a different coding structure and nearly all of the chips like the Superchips models are aimed at a specific version of the EECIV.

BKLOCO: I work for superchips..

EECIV are a bit of a faff, certainly not one-chip-fits-all, but then nor are a lot of cars.
I don't know too much about them really, they were pretty much done and dusted before I started there.

I could go on about the fiesta ST150 all day though, worked on that for 3+ months
(probably shouldn't, however)

In Dave Andrews case, it's usually people stealing ideas off him...
...I nicked one of his ideas for incorporation into my gearshift extension, but at least I acknowledged his data on my website, and put a link to his.
