megasquirt help

i have the standard ecu in my car (mk with nissan ca18 1.8 turbo) and a custom loom to fit ford nissan, the ecu is giving me so many faults due to pissed about with sensors missing etc i want to megasquirt it.

i dont see the fuel side being a prob but what about the spark, i've spoken to bill and he wants to know if i have a distributor which i have and a coil pack which i have but he needs to know what signals it gives off ?

whats he on about ?

am i biting off more than i can handle ?

Its because the Nissans used a strange coil system as standard.

The guys i share a work house with all have 200sx DRIFT Cars - and they have these weird sequential injector thingys - typically they are all out on a meet so can't ask.

they'll be the ones who know though - as apparently the MS is incompatible with these standard coil packs at present - so I reckon Bill's trying to establish whether he can actually help or not.

If you believe you're not crazy, whilst everybody is telling you, you are - then they are definitely wrong!
