4AGE Bearings
Any of you chaps got a source for 4AGE big end bearings? Other that Toyota.
I've lived a life that's full.
I've traveled each and ev'ry highway.
But more, much more than this,
I did it side-ah-ways.

A local engine machineist or motor factor should do them.

Toyota bearings would be ideal, as they are coded to fit the crank and the block with a perfect fit.
"Jobber" bearings will work fine, just not as precise.
Check your local auto parts store.
I bought Toyota rod bearings ($20 cdn each) and main bearings ($25 cdn each), whereas I could buy a fill set of jobber bearings for $75 cdn (if I
remember correctly).
Toyota parts are pricey.

Cheers chaps,
MrT's prices are generally issued with KY jelly and a request to bend over.
Will try BPJ.

Does anyone know of a cheaper source of hot cams for the 4age rather than Uk suppliers (Raw, Fensport, etc) as £500.00 is not enough locost for me!
