engine loom

being a bit of a numpty at times i am yet again asking for help from the all knowing oracal that is locostbuilders....

.... looking for a nice simple idiot proof diagram of what is required for the engine side of a loom (i.e. what is needed to make the engine go broom broom)????

i've got the constant live and earth to starter and the trigger wire to the starter from ignition , just cant figure out the rest.

power from ignition to +ve of coild then -ve of coil to the points.

That is for a 12v coil if you have the 9v coild system you require a resistor and relay.
