Zetec Sensors + Megajolt
The only sensors i need on a zetec are crank position sensor, and TPS for megajolt. (I dont have MAP on mine). Is that correct? What do i do with any
others?
The camshaft sensor, whats that for (Megasquirt)?
Which ones are the oil pressure and temperature sensors?
Are there any more i should blank/ use?
Regards Chaz

The camshaft sensor, whats that for (Megasquirt)? NOT USED FOR MS. ONLY USED IN SEQUENTIAL INJ SYSTEMS.
Which ones are the oil pressure and temperature sensors? TEMP SENSOR FOR ECU IS THE TOP ONE ON THE THERMO HOUSING BOTTOM ONE FOR GAUGE.
OIL PRESSURE IS ON OFF SIDE OF BLOCK TOWARDS THE FRONT ON SILVER TOPS.

IF YOU WANT AN OIL PRESS GAUGE FIT SENDER/PIPE IN BLANKED HOLE 3"-4" BEHIND OIL PRESS SWITCH.

the camshaft
will tell the mcu when the first cilider is opening his inlet..
in that way the mcu can calculate for every piston the valve timeing
SEQ fuel injection is top of the bill and better because it wont let the fuel be on the hot valve..
Tks
all bike engines have SEQ fuel injection..
The above comments are always meant to be from the above persons perspective.

Sequenctional fuel injection is generaly usefull only at idle and low engine speed to reduce emissons and increase economy. Unless you have huge
injectors then at high engine speeds/loads the injector pulses overlap so much that it's hardly different from a batch fired system.
