Flooding my engine
A couple of times now my van engine has cut out. Once at low speed but accellerating and once at a constant 65mph. I'd had a theory that the
plugs were getting wet, and when it happened again today I whipped them out and sure enough they were.
I've recently fitted a decent pump (pressure set to 3 bar) and some 214cc/min injectors (down from 380). I've adjusted the fuelling
accordingly on megasquirt and it does drive fine otherwise.
Has anyone else experienced their engine flooding when everything looks fine? Do you think reducing the pressure a tad may help?
Oh, it's a Zetec 1.8 and Jenvey TBs

3 bar sounds a bit high for normal use and you might find 2 bar will settle everything down worth a try imo
Cheers,

Have you tried running the datalogger to see whats happening?
It is just possible that the MagaSquirt is resetting.
Experience is what you get when you don't get what you want!!!

I'll reduce to 2 and see what happens. It's set at 3 because that's what the injector flow rate is at.
It's a bit of a random problem. It did it on Wednesday night last week and today, but it's been fine in between. I've run the logger
between those times, but it's never done it while I've been logging.
Hmm. Today and last wednesday... There's a link...
