dohc running bike carbs
does anyone know if its possible to set up a 2.0l DOHC to run on bike carbs?
If it is possible, is it any better/cheaper than using twin webers?
Cheers, Theo

As an aside.why is it that Webers go out of tune?..Is it the throttle linkage or what?

I'm interested in this. I have a Vauxhall 20XE on Weber 40s which gets me around175bhp and plenty of torque. But they run a little rich between
3,000 and 4,000rpm, and it drinks fuel at an alarming rate. Would bike carbs be better? I've heard the carbs from a Honda CBR1100XX Blackbird
make a good fit.

Having run a car on both Carbs and TBs I would suggest that when set up correctly the biggest advantage of TBs is the smoothness of the power
especially at light throttle and the fuel ecconomy over carbs

Yes its possible, but you'll have to make a manifold!
