Braided fuel hose

Hi guys,

If I get some braided fuel hose to connect the fuel tank to the FI system on my k series, will it pass SVA? Does the hose have to have 'Fuel use' or whatever printed on it? or will a receipt sayinf it's fuel hose be ok?

You just need to have proof that its suitable. Doesn't matter if the proof is printed on the side of the hose or if your receipt has it written on....could probably even be like a mail order internet page printout with a picture of the hose along side the description....As long as you can prove it....Oli.

Nitrile Rubber hose is fine so long as you do not run it inside an enclosed cockpit as it allows fuel vapour to seep through it over time. You must use a hose with a PTFE liner if routing inside an enclosed cockpit. Hope this helps.
