GSXR Injectors - Info needed

Info needed.

I have scanned the web anf various forums to source info for my GSXR injectors.

It appears that the flow rate is 270cc/min but at what pressure. (I also read that they are only 240cc/min!! )

I also need to know if they are High Impedance or Low Impedance as I need to set up my Megasquirt for them.

Any info would be appreciated.

MS sorted
Innovate LC1 sorted
Engine and required bits sorted.
TB's sorted
Inlet manifold still to source. I bought a manifold flange of eBay but after paying it has not been sent. The user is no longer registered

Exhaust manifold is currently in the form of lots of pipe bends and a flange.

Hoping to be all sorted for spring.

According to my GSXR600 (2001/2002) the fuel pressure should be 43psi.

Don't know about impedance though.

Thanks CaLviNx.

I have calculated that if they are 240cc/min @ 43psi then with 54psi I can get them up to 270cc/min which should be good fro 175bhp.

Does that sound right??

Mine were a deep red colour and supposed to be 275cc/min at 3bar, high impedance from a 750 GSXR.

It may depend on year then as mine are definitely black.

I will have to test them for flow rates once I have the set-up running. 275psi would be good as it would leave some scope for tuning next year.

My GSXR1100 injectors have 2 ohm resistance Takes just a few seconds to measure them .

2 ohms is very nearly a direct short to earth. Your prolly gonna have a hell of a current passing through the coil

If it looks wrong it probably is wrong.

I quote from Dave Walkers book on engine management page 73 . Very early electronic injection systems used low impedence coilswith a resistance of ABOUT 3 ohms Think he knows a thing or two about injection systems!

Forgive me if I'm wrong but rusty nuts is only talking about his injectors NOT all GSXR injectors. And seems to be suggesting that Tangoman might want to measure the resistance of his injectors...
