Emissionsssszzzz
Sorry guys i need you to bother with this ones..
1)How feaseball is it to expect reaching the EURO4 norm of emissions
from a injected bike from 1998 injected
bike engine with after date labda sensor install and a CAT??
How feaseball would it be if i buy a labda sensor enabled install with a cat?
2) are there aftermarket MSU installs wich enable labdasensors and how good are they
i can imagine that if the bike isn't ECO build it never will pass is this true??
or is it just a question of the right material + setup?
EURO4 means:
- CO = < 1,0
- HC =< 0.1
- NOx =< 0.8

TKS,
If you mean Euro 4 as in needing to do a full-on MVEG test and get 1,0 g/km CO, 0,1 G/km HC and 0,08 g/km NOX, then forget it. there's
absolutely NO WAY you'll get that to work DIY. To get to Euro 4, everything needs to be spot on when the engine is hot, and you'll need
extensive catalyst warmup strategies. Please do not even try to attempt this.... I can assure you you will not succeed.
Sorry for being so negative about your project, but it just won't work... I'm an automotive powertrain engineer by profession and have
been involved in a number of Euro 4 projects for alternative (gaseous) fuels. I know what i am talking about and just want to try and stop you from
making a huge mistake.
have a look here to see what you're up against...
