What sort of laptop to run megajolt etc ?

Ive been offered an old laptop running windows 3.1, is this going to be any use if i go for a programmable ecu ??

Im not anywhere close to this stage yet but the laptop has been offered so i will take it, if its any use for the car build.

3.1 is useless you will need win95 at a minimum...

guess your laptop is a 486...if its @ 100mhz you could install win95...

You can buy a new one for 3-400 quid. How much can a 2nd hand one be?!

I had a 486sx 4meg running Win95 no problem.
Unlikely any machine running 3.11 will have a CD drive and hooking up a CD drive to load win95--forget it.
