Ooooh! Expensive!
...and didn't he notice that the steering wasn't very good coming up to the start line?
Incidentally - your avatar matches this topic's title very well!

that can't be real..........how do 20 wheel nuts simoultaneously end up right at the end of the studs enough that they'll drop off or be
able to be pulled off. even if you'd just put the wheels on, you wouldn't put the nuts on just a couple of threads.........surely
still made me lmao though

I drove from Brighton to a petrol station just outside Brands in my BEC, only to notice that all my wheel nuts were loose - just forgot to torque them
up - was heading for a track day too - won't be doing that EVER again
If you're not living life on the edge you're taking up too much room.

I don't think that they fell off I think they snapped due to the improper loading. To me it looks in the video like the wheel studs are either
missing or "shortened"

Not sure about that theory, I'd have expected one or two wheels to come free, but all four at the same time seems a stretch.
The only thing I could think of was he'd really p*ssed someone off in the paddock and then left the car alone for a while.

Rumor is that the nuts might not have been correct size/pitch.....

How would you not notice when tightening them? Unless they were put on with an air gun.

maybe they where overtightened!!
then every stud cant cope with the BHP they are for normally.
saying that 4 wheels within one minute..
could be if it is a chain reaction one wheel goes the load is higher on the others and they go to.. etc...
i noticed the handbrake thing to!
Tks

They wher just not tighten.
If you mount wheels with "wrong" nuts and tight them, not this will happen.
Looks like the studs are way to short, or loose,
BTW: he put the handbrake on after loosing the wheels
