fuel pump suction end ?

hello all

looking at the below fuel pump i cant tell which end is the suction, i am presuming its the larger of the 2 ie the 1/2" end with the green cap ?

Look closely - there's usually an arrow on the casing showing the direction of flow.

The low pressure side of the pump will have the larger diameter port, in this case the one on the left of the pic.

Yes the power terminal end is the outlet.,
