is was reported earlier by a spanish newspaper that maclaren had pushed ron dennis....then confirmed by pistonheads (after a call to mercedes benz)
that this was untrue...

The fact that this story is originally from a Spanish newspaper does raise my suspicions as to if it is actually true.
Also MB and Mclaren have denied it, which of course they would.

Good story for the Spanish press to hide the fact that Alonso was only 13th fastest in testing and a long way behind the McLaren - what a shame
