nottingham sva ok ?

Hi just about to fill in my forms and was going for Norwich but they are morning only and I'm a good 80 miles away and not a good morning person.

Also they are into mid july for bookings

Nottingham is similar distance and afternoon friendly , also running about 2 weeks on bookings is there a good reason for this? are they notoriously strict?

any thoughts before I apply

I had my first test there....

I was a bit unlucky in that the examiner was being supervised by the area examiner who was a PITA and did things completely by the rule book (and even made some rules up!!!)... Not sure how lenient / strict they would have been without the area examiner though!!!

Andy and Martin, the examiners at Nottingham are top blokes, very fair with a good reputation.

A good place for an SVA

A pint for the gent and a white wine/fruit based drink for the lady. Those are the rules

Had my SVA a couple of years ago at Nottingham. Passed first time. The guy who did the test was Martin. He was utterly brilliant. He even helped me to stick a few bits of rubber protection on one or two areas that I'd overlooked.

If your car looks and is well built, then they definately do their best to get the car through.

Best of luck.

Cheers

Dave
