MSNS not keen to start after warm up.

I've had the engine running and up to temp (fans cut in) 3 times now.
I've got a relatively steady idle as well but since I've altered the ve table (to get the steady idle) the car does not seem to keen to start again when it's cooled down (i.e. next day). It'll kick a bit and offer to fire but won't actually run until there is a bit of heat in it (i.e. after you've tried 20 or 30 times and the short period of running has heated it up a bit). After it does start it's fine.
My question is what should I be altering??
The inc/dec on the warm up wizard
the cranking pulse widths
the afterstart enrichments.
I've had a play with a few of them today but to no real avail i'm afraid. The car did eventually start and ran up to temp onto the ve table and a steady idle as well but I bet tommorrow night it won't want to start again.

If it looks wrong it probably is wrong.

No no idle valve of any kind at all. I was led to believe that it is possible to get it to run without one.
It would always start ok before I run it up to temp and played with the ve table.
