It's difficult to tell from the photo but if the vehicle wa parked "airside" which looking at the control tower in the background it may well have been then then alot of motor insurers would exclude it from cover.

That being said I guess the pilots insurers would be expected to pay.

I know that's not really the point but just sprung out of the exceptionally boring insurance knowledge lurking in my mind somewhere.
