Fuel rail blank
Anyone know where to buy fuel rail blank?
Need to make a custom fuel rail for my throttle bodies.
I know demon tweek sell it, but its a stupid price.
This is the stuff I am looking for:

I've seen custom home made rails made out of small bore copper pipe.
That no good or are you looking for something very blingy??

Not blingy, but ideally dont want to need to weld up a fabrication.
The blank is nice as it just needs drilling in the correct positions for the injectors. Its silly cheap in the states, but a fortune over here!
Typical!

Demon tweaks do them...
I got Altis to drill out the holes...Thought about doing it myself, but it needs to be exact.

Got all the gear needed at work to drill very accurately.
I know demon tweeks do them, but they are extortionate!

Actually, that's exactly where I got mine from...
However, My car required a little more than 300mm (and I would guess most would)...by the time I added on a few cms, the price went up
considerably...so get a quote before buying....
The reason for having a little more was so the end of the fuel rail would clear the throttle linkage, I could then use a 90degree bend for the fuel
line which meant I did not have a big loop of fuel line....
That said, it's good stuff.....

I once got a quote from RMR in the states for 10 pieces of 13" Dash 6 rail, ideal length for zetec. And it was 183$, so 18$/14£ per piece
So if someone is up for a group buy, I will at least take 2
Can also ask for the dash 8 stuff.

Don't buy it from americanv8engines
His website doesn't show the postage anywhere, you have to place an order first before he decides to tell you that he wants over £20 postage for
600mm of fuel rail I then had to argue with him to get my money back when I refused to pay that much
Order it direct from Ross Machine Racing. The rail itself is half the price, they charge less in postage
to get it from the US as v8 guy does to post it from here, and mine arrived in 3 days

Yep...that sounds about right, explains why I had ended up paying so much for mine....
