6mm thick plate or similar needed
Hi guys
Im after a bit of plate, be it ally, lexan, or some other smooth flat but rigid material about the size of a piece of a4 paper.
I want to make a drop in insert for a router table im making.
Similar to this but without the red bit in the middle
link
I dont really care what it is made of but it must be
Pretty rigid
FLAT (important)
not likely to warp with changed in moisture
Relatively easy to cut (cos i need to cut a 50mm diameter hole in the middle of it)
and around 6mm thick.
or can anone suggest a common place item that can be bought for not a lotthat would do the job?
Cheers

all the plastic chopping boards i have had have warped by some notable amount.
I had thought of one f these but discounted it based on that amount of warpage!

Have a look for phenolic coated plywood Col, it's used for reusable shuttering and trailer bases and is pretty moisture resistant.
yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.
