Aftermarket ECU with variable valve timing control option
Has anyone fitted a aftermarket engine management system with a variable valve timing control option on it. I am fitting a nissan 300zx z32 V6 into a
Luego Viento.

Yes I have an Omex ECU on a Toyota Vvt 20v engine. Just use the shift light facility to operate the Vvt. This probably applies to most other ECU
makes out there.

The OMEX ECUs can do infinite variable VVT as well. Not specifically listed on the ECU spec but basically you use a pulse width auxillary output to
give you the variable control.

"chris mason" on this forum fitted a stand alone ecu on his s2000 Indy to control the variable valve timing/vtec,I think it was a
"hydra" system,it brought the vtec in lower down the rev range,so the power came in a bit softer,to make it more driveable.
