woodster - 9/5/05 at 02:18 PM

Is the ZX12R INDY for sale at the moment on ebay the same car as the one on Hellfires last video .......... the one with Martin doing donuts

Hellfire - 9/5/05 at 04:28 PM

Yep. Thats the one. Damn shame. That is one extremely quick car, finished to a very high standard.

Can't wait to see his next one though. It should be even quicker

It looks as if it's got a brake servo fitted, anyone for sure? I was thinking of fitting one and would be interested what one was used.

I'm reconfiguring it - sorry!

Arjan356 - 11/5/05 at 09:53 AM

Woohhhhh,

I'm also building a ZX12 indy, hehehe.
Is it a standard engine or is it tuned?

Can't wait doing donuts.

Arjan

Hellfire - 11/5/05 at 10:23 PM

Arjan - we're almost ready to start our's... just needs the exhaust making! Can't wait... it will be captured on video too

Arjan356 - 12/5/05 at 06:39 PM

How is the MK exhaust? are the tubes of each cilinder the same length?

Cheers,

Arjan

Hellfire - 12/5/05 at 10:03 PM

Arjan - we have not yet seen the MK design of exhaust for the ZX12R engine. There is a lot of speculation about different exhaust's affecting the engine's output in varying ranges of rpm. We are going 4-1 which apparently won't affect the mid-range too much. Other's have commented on a 4-2-1 system being better for mid range. On a bike, this may be the case. On an Indy, we don't think it will make a significant difference.

Does anyone have any design's/opinions of the ZX12R headers?

I'm want an exhaust at the back, because i'm not planning to use a silencer.

Hellfire - 13/5/05 at 02:22 PM

Arjan - are you mad No silencer??? Nice sound but LOUD!!!

Arjan356 - 14/5/05 at 07:50 PM

Want to scare people and irritate the local police.

Cheers.

lol worry not, even with a silencer at high revs there very loud ,with the mk silencer mine was 116 db's at 7000 rpm, with out a silencer it will be ear bleeding loud
