I'm also in Bristol, but I built a GTS not an MK. Still might be able to help out with things you get stuck on though.

Im in Taunton, theres a rather large fraternity of us down here! (Never new till i bought the car!)
We meet on the last thursday of the month in Bridgwater if you ever want to come and say hello!
RobH comes to those meets when he can!
There a huge amount of variety, from full home builds (Chassis and all!) To a nice Caterham, my Indy, some RH's, couple of Dax's etc.
An even bigger selection of engines! From 1000CC Bikes to Cossie turbos!
