tomgregory2000 - 10/3/09 at 08:51 PM

Got my SVA at southampton tomorrow morning, booked it for my birthday as a little present to myself. I get to drive MY car on the road!!!!!
I just want to pass as its been 4 years of building.

Apart from the apointment letter, insurance certificate, a full tank of petrol and as many tools as i can fit in the foot well and a bag of trim is there anything else i need to take?

Tommy

Proof of engine age letter any documentation that you may have to prove fuel pipe compliance, fuses, multi meter, silkaflex sealant, a selection of files! laptop if you're megajolting or squirting. Just take everything! Oh and a flask of tea for when you're waiting for him to fill out the mac!!!

Good luck mate and happy birthday!

On the way there use the brakes as much as possible to help them bed-in.
If you have Mark he's an ace guy and really helpful.
You should enjoy the day - it's when all that hard work seems the most worthwhile.

Happy Birthday (they must be lucky my first drive in the F27 was on my birthday).
