marking on brake pipes

Hi my car failed sva,
the tester said i need markings on my flexi brakes hoses going to my remote resevoirs to say they are suitable for dot 4 fluid.
does anyone know where i can buy some?

strange mine wernt even checked.

get a letter from who ever you bought them from saying that they are sutable.

and data sheet by chockymonster

Mine are Fiat Seicento pipes, kept the receipt just in case , no questions asked.

A couple of pictures on my archive of marked hoses. The longer one is p/n 46774776, 290mm long, and the other is p/n 46774775, 220mm long. Total cost £8.48 inc vat, took a couple of weeks to get.

If I had known I would have just bought 2 of the shorter ones, they are just the right length.

Burton sell it, £3.25 a meter either blue or red cotton overbraid.

Martin never checked mine either, though i did point out that they were suitable ones!

Think automotive supply some blue stuff iwth the right markings on it.

You need to prove it meets a particular BS (can't remember which one though! )
