I have fitted some copper microbore pipe for my fuel pipe. When fitting it i got a kink in it on a tight curve so i need to know can i replace a short
section with a rubber hose or does it have to be a solid pipe throughout?
Cheers
Simon
I used braided rubber hose throughout so short section should be fine. Just take care how you join it.
When ive used hard pipe before i went for 5/16" kunifer for plenty of flow (tintop hot hatch). How big is microbore? Sounds a bit small to me.
I think its about 8mm stuff. Someone on here recommended it to get it from b&q so thats what i went for.
Will it be accessible when the car is complete ? I dont think you really want two joints in a fuel pipe where you cant get to it..............
i used 10mm microbore but thers have used 8mm i got a kink in mine so i just cut it out and soldered in a coupler
Run a drill through a solder ring fitting and then push it on the end of the pipe. Solder it on, and it makes a very good rib to stop a rubber fuel
pipe sliding off.

Don't forget the rubber pipe is supposed to be specification marked.
