does anyone know whar rear end the westfield runs? i bought a used set of rear discs but they wont clear my sierra rear hubs. stud pattern is exact as it fits when disc is on backwards!
i was under the impression they ran sierra diff driveshsfts and hubs?

Think they have their own cast uprights. These seem to have their own logo cast in, though are for drums.

thanks ian. these are ford discs though?

First Westfields with IRS were based around Escort english axle parts.

If you have a Sierra based rear end just order Sierra discs much cheaper than mucking about with old Westfield parts.

Westfield upright

Sierra calipers

Escort MK 3 discs

I think if they're escort mk3 discs then the flange has to be turned down. Thats the way it's done with the Wilwood conversion kits that Rally Design do.

so you turn down the flange on the hub by a few mm?

adithorp - 13/4/10 at 08:48 PM

Thats what you do with th RD Wilwood drum-disc conversion kit. I suspect thats what Westfield also do.

Don't think there's any need to turn them down if using sierra calipers... Mark 3/4 unvented escort fronts is correct linky to wscc

The hubs need to be turned down to fit inside an escort disc. I've done this on my sierra rear end. The exact dimension is on the Rally Design website but 134mm comes to mind.
