I want to have the suspension geometry checked and set up and corner weighted on My Fury.
I'd like to have it set up quite precise for fast road and track.
Any recommendations as to where to go for this near the Wigan area.
Cheers
I know its not in wigan, but I might as well start the first of many recomendations for procomp in bham- top lads.
I can second ProComp.
They are great guys and do a great job, completly transformed my car. The price is very good for the work put in and if like me you are a novice you
will learn alot too.
Worth the trip down in my opinion allthough I believe Matt has broken his ankles so you may have to wait a little while.

Ive previously used northampton motor sport, great guys really know their stuff across all types of sports cars. Their workshop is like an aladins cave of cars.
I would also suggest that the trip down the M6 to birmingham, Procomp would be worth the trip...
That is of course if he's got up off his lazy arse by now...
Cheers
Will consider the trip to procomp.
Clarksons is just round the corner from me and welderman suggested them too.
What does it cost anyway.

Hi
"That is of course if he's got up off his lazy arse by now... " yea yea. Hoping to be out of the chair and on crutches next week after
a trip to the funny farm known as the Hospital.
Our prices are £200 for a full and i mean full setup Inc all 4 dampers dyno tested and set and the springs checked for poundage.
Cheers Matt
Sounds good - I'll be in touch this week for you to set-up my Mac#1 I've just bought.
Needs it badly as is quite nervy
Should the steering self centre?
As it is once the turn has been initiated the steering wants to tighten up the turn even more into an ever decreasing circle...
Hi
They never self center that good due to the inbuilt geometry lacking Castor usualy down on around 2-4 where as it really needs 5 Minimum. But it
should make at least some attempt to straighten even with those sort of figures. If it tries to tighten the turn then there's something set wrong
. Possibly the top wishbones on the wrong way around or some other Geo setting way out. But check the top wishbones have the shorter leg to the rear.
When looking from above at the top and bottom joints the top joint should be around 10-20mm backward of the lower one. 20mm gives around 5 degrees of
castor.
Cheers Matt
The arms and top/bottom joints do look as you say they should
I'll give you a ring tomorrow and get it booked in
Cheers
