Seen these on ebay - TO CLEAR FRONT PAIR OE QUALITY BRAKE CALIPERS IMPREZA 2.0 TURBO INC WRX BC9246

They look like pattern versions of the Subaru Impreza calipers for 293mm x 26mm discs. Anyone got/seen these and got views as to how good/bad they are ?

Looking to potentially put them on 260mm x 24mm discs with brackets to Escort uprights, looks like a very cheap (possibly too cheap) way of getting 4 pots ??? comments ???

Assuming they arent alloy, whilst they may give some braking upgrade, certainly wont be lightweight.

Thanks for the info, I suspect they are cast but I am currently using Sierra XR4x4 single pots (Caprisport GTR260 kit) which are cast iron and are 4 KG each without pads and mounting bracket so probably close to 5KG per wheel. This looks like it has less material in it than the ones I have. (260mm vented discs I have are also 5.6kg each!). Note - this is on a Ford Anglia but as this only weights around 750kg the Locost solutions are not a bat match. Looking for the best set up for 14" minilites (ET26 or18)with as little layout as possible. The Fiesta ST150 discs look interesting at 278mm but they are not as high as the ones I have (45 vs 55 mm).

i fitted those to an impreza i had a few years back, they are a great price for brand new calipers but yeah cast not alloy
