Good morning all. I'm trying to get the orientation of my wiper wheelboxes right first time, so my question is does the standard 'Smiths' wiper motor set-up self park with the inner cable extended or retracted ?

On mine it is retracted.

It may depend on the position of the ramp under the gear wheel? IIRC it may be possible to turn the wheel boxes on the rack to alter parking position

Yep ^^^ I ran mine to find out before fitting....

And yes turning the wheel boxes over will change this, so you might be able to choose..
