Best way to remove fuel injectors from fuel rail
Steelman - 23/10/08 at 07:58 AM

I need to remove a fuel injector from the fuel rail which is does not want to come out. Tried soaking overnight in WD40 with no luck, any other suggestions

is their little metal clips?? most seem to have them. Once removed then you just tug or yank on injectors to plop the O-rings past the grove

I bang them out with a 2lb hammer. It also helps unjam the injector spring inside.

And possibly snap them in the rail, remove clip and pull hard.

I knew you must be joking when you mentioned a 2 pound hammer; that's barely enough to break toffee with
