Anyone got one spare?

not going spare, but I am using one. only cost £55. I am using an elise loom aswell so most of the system plugs together.

looked at it before, if you get the one from the k series engined car its pretty easy to wire in, on the later/toyota engined ones i couldn;t get the speedo to work

might have a wiring diagram somewhere if you need one

Just toying with ideas atm. My Acewell doesn't look very trick to me anymore, already fitted a 52mm fuel gauge and temp gauge will be next.

Wiring diagram would help as would the plug that goes in the back with a bit of wire, or a loom..

The car I was looking in had a K series and went to 8K and 140mph, looked really good imo, unlike the rest of the inside

Ta,
Steve

Im sure I remeber this being disucssed in the past....

There was a company who made an adapter that plugged into the back of the later Elise dash modules and allowed you to plug in "generic" sensors etc for speed, pressure, temp etc....

I have one in the Nova, well a vx220. very easy to wire in, elec speedo signal comes from astra digidash transducer, is calibrated by a pulse converter (Made by a guy on migweb.co.uk). pretty much every thing else is plug n play bar the fuel gauge which currently works the wrong way round!

pics may not work as host is messing me around!

A fellow dax builder has one in his vauxhall engined rush. I think everything hooks up easily but the speedo, which hes using a converted ABS sensor to run.

Im pretty sure the elise uses an ABS sensor for the speedo signal as standard.
