I have this type of coil pack

Rather than this type which seam to be more common.

Apprently one is more hard to find plug leads for, but i dont know which!

I beleave these plugs leads will fit the second of the two shown above, and are for a CVH. But what do i need for the coilpack i have.
- I presume it cant just use the leads the go to my (bosch) distributor at present, but am stuggling to know what would fit. Or do i have the one that you cant find leads for!!

you are correct, the leads in the link fit the second coil pack pictured

and

sorry but you can't use the ones in the link for a bosch distributer

i have a spare coil pack (second picture one) you can have with coil plug for £20 posted if you want. i think i have leads as well

Its the newer sort as fitted to duratecs etc they have totally different connectors on the coil end. Best bet is probably pop into halfords and rifle through their leads until you find some suitable.

Either that or try getting one of the older sort...

Right ok, so i have the newer of the two coilpacks, which is used on the duratec.

But the duratec being a dohc engine has plug leads that are unsuitable for a cvh, because they look like this.

Seams like a bit of rummaging is required, or a trip to the scrap yard. For a diffrent coilpack and leads.

you can get them made with what ever ends and length you like - there is normally someone doing it at the shows....

(sorry I don't have a contact, but I'm sure someone on here will)
