Can u not just bend the rods?
i'd have said bend the float rod (making sure its right for both minimum and maximum. should be easy with some careful thought and planning. don't know what that top one is though
what he said ^^^
top one - is that just a wire to hold the wires in place? not seen anytrhing like that before ... or may be low fuel warning lamp?
if so, you can get rid of it unless you are using same clocks.
I will be using the koso rx1n clock.
I pioneered the blackbird/koso combo! Get rid of the non-swinging rod, as it is just a low level light. Then very carefully begin beding you wire.
Test it, then bend again. After aout 6 hours, you will be happy with waht you have! Just make sure you set the Koso to the correct resistance (been
there done that!).
One point to consider when bending - think of the arc, and whether it will foul a baffle. Mine did, and took some tweking o sort.
Good luck!
on mine i had to bend the float rod the other way because it read empty when it was up and full when down i used mine with rx2n hope this is of some help
not only can you bend the wire, you can cut and rejoin it as well.
Sereis Land rover ones ceom like that - a two part wire with small crimp joiners - use some solder for belt and braces approach.
obvisouly you would remove the plastic float is heating the wire up.
