erm, don't know for definite, but since no one else has answered, it was either late 60's early 70s i think
im not sure how you'd find that out
i had a quick google and it came up with nothing

ooh, i remember someone had a similar question about 2 months ago. hazards weren't working, think it was decided you didn't need them, but
if fitted they had to work, so tuck the switch out the way somewhere
