Fog light mounting

Just how close to vertical has the foglight mounting to be? Obviously there will be a variation dependent onsuspension loading, it will be about 5 degrees off with current design, will that be acceptable does anyone know?

The book says "Vertical" with no leeway mentioned, so it has to be vertical. 5' will fail.

try ringing vosa? (ive never done this so dont know if its possible) but I was reading someones build thread recently and he commented that he very carefully made sure it was verticle but this has since been dropped from IVA?

Not trying to confuse anything, but it would save you some worry if true

simply make a wooden spacer like wedge to go behind the lamp so it is vertical and paint it black

is your lens flat, or domed, as it can be a little harder to measure it with a domed lens.

On my SVA the tester didnt even check the angle of mine

best to make it vertical when the car sits at its finished weight.

other way to look at it is, if it looks vertical, the tester might not check it lol
