I have some 'fiddle time' before SVA tomorrow, so Im having a look at the MPH speedo on the Veypor dash
its accurate enough, but not as accurate as Veypor claim it could be......
Anyone got a process they used to setup and calibrate the speedo?
If its under-reading, unless it is really far out, i would leave it till after SVA.
One of my fail points at SVA was speedo in-accurate.
The Veypor has 2 options on the speedo, one just using the magnets and one that combines the input from the accellerometer with the magnets.
I thought the combined input would be more accurate, but, when sat still on the rollers it got a bit confused and misread. I'd disable the
accelerometer for the test.
Have you stuck the magnet to a wheel or the prop? I used the wheel, so just input the wheel diameter.
I've since checked it against the sat nav and it's spot on.

ie if your doing 30 and it reads 25 that no good.
Better it overreads.
Just learn how to tweak it by adjusting whell siz to get it within the acceptable range -overreading if anything
