Just reading up about EDIS and megajolt wiring, on the autosportlabs vehicle installation guide it says to use 12-14 gauge wire. What does this mean in english?

Make sure you use the sheilded wire in the right place and properly earthed.
Trigger Wheel .com do the stuff and you can find it in Maplins.
I had a lot of problems with the plug on the VR sensor so make sure it is properly connected and secure it against vibration and cable pull.

I used leads removed from the 'donor' for the crank position and tps. For plug into the edis i used wire that came with it. For the wire to the MJLT itself i used the wire of a computer power supply which i got the plug off. Swapping the wires around so the thick ones become the current carrying ones and the colours made sense. Then used some cut up loom from a 306 for odd other bits.

Total cost = very low! Time taken = not much.
