Just to let all you 2l pinto engined owners,(if you didnt have one already),I've just replaced my duff starter motor with a smaller more compact- and lighter one than standard- a lucas LRS 110, costs £48.26 on an exchange basis- well worth it!!! - from LSuk outlet. one in Shrewsbury.

Any idea if this starter was ever fitted to a specific model of car? ie. are there any in the scrappies?

Hi James, I got the first one from a 2l capri from a local scrappies, but the lucas part number wasnt stamped on it!
not sure if any of the sierras had one fitted, my f27 starts really well now! good hunting!!
