How wobbly are your front indicators?

Quick one for those with extended indicators.... how wobbly are yours and will the IVA tester want them to be stiff. Mine are stiff(ish) but will wobble slightly when driving over bumpy ground...

cheers

which test centre are you going to, i doubt the inspector will even be able to see your indicators from the driving seat, can you?

I'm sure he'll give them a shoogle to see if they are firmly attached. As long as they don't look like they'll fall off or move position they'll be fine. You'd not want something super strong as it would be a hazard to pedestrians, the ones on my bike are mounted on rubber and wobble with the engine..

my extestions are held in two places so a pretty unwobblelable - fitted into the tube is the motorcyle indicator, whcih, like mr W, have a shrot section that can flex but I doubt that moved all that much, well, even less now that I've blown my engine.

Mine don't wobble at all I have a tube all the way though the nose cone, with the indicators mounted on each end..

If a predestination should get anywhere near them when the car's moving that's the least of there worries (wheels and wishbones etc)!

For IVA they will just want them secure.

mine were flimsy and weren't even looked at. one fell off on the first enthusiastic journey!my sva experience told me not to think about anything involving common sense or safety, just watch those "sva compliant" bits you've bought, they only fail what you cant change on the day no matter how prepared you are!
