Can anyone tell me what is the live wire on a fazer fuel pump, it only has 2 wires one is black and the other is black/blue.

Just don't want to f&^* it.

Connect it up... if the car goes backwards you have it wrong!!!


The black is usually ground, and the Black with blue stripe is usually +ve

if its a carb pump (i.e. one of those mitsubishi ones) then they work either way around. I know it sounds unlikely.

One way around is better than the other, so you could check the flow rate with a bucket of water.

On mine black was ground, but mine was kawasaki engined (although mitsu. pump as they all seem to be).
