Does the earlier 2.0 zetec mondeos 93 – 96 not have a rev limiter?
i have the engine of one fitted in my sierra. But it jus revs but doesn’t cut out/ limit
is there any way I can get it to? Would I have to change the brain and pats module?
its a TELL ecu
thanks

dont think ECU fitted with a rev limiter mine peaks at 6600 and has been reved to 7500 with no sign of one, think only option is standalone rev
limiter like omex one at £100 ish or aftermarket ECU

Do you really need a rev limiter? Added work, complication and something else to go wrong.
You must be able to tell where the power curve ends, and shift accordingly?
