I've got this plug on my TPS. Does anyone recognise it? What do I need to plug into it? Or do I just chop it off and put something else on?
Regards,
Dave
id cut it off and put something else on there,
+1. Bizarre looking thing. Most TPSs use the mini timer type connectors.
Ta, I'll whip it off then.
Question, does the motor run with out it connected? Would check first.
bit more info might help i can see its a rv8 with on offy 360 but what tb is it? does the other end of the wires plug onto the tps or somewhere else
it looks like the plug for a camshaft sensor or a tdc sensor but doesnt look like any ive seen before
Ray
ps I wouldnt cut it off till i knew what it was for
its the tps wiring raylee.
It's definitely from the throttle position sensor. The manifold is an offy 360, and the TB is a 4 barrel device a bit like a stripped down carb. I've yet to wire it all together as part of my carbs -> Megasquirt/EFI project. If someone said "Oh yes, you can get them from xyz.co.uk for £2" I'd be interested in buying one, but if it's a special order from the US for £20 + $50 shipping then I'll get the wire cutters out
Ford used that plug on a few things.
2.0DOHC IAT I think... Altough it was white in that applicatuion from memmory.
