Has anyone got a pdf of the YZFR1 service manual 00-01 or more specifically the wiring diagram. The one I tried to download off the net has an error when you try to unzip it.
I've got the Haynes wiring diagram but it has that stupid cycle-lock wiring added so you can't trace all the wires.
I chopped the loom up to wire up the car, most of it has gone back together fine but got a coupe of wires I'm not sure of.

There's a blue/black wire coming out of the ignition control unit and a blue/yellow wire from the relay assembly they disappear into the cycle lock wiring on the haynes dia.
Any ideas ?

if it is the relay box which should be black and size of a cigarette box and has like a clip on the back and a white plug goes into it
blue/yellow goes to the side stand switch (so ground it or use as a security device by putting a switch on it which the other end goes to ground)
blue and black stripe goes to the clutch switch ( so i have just grounded that aswell)

There is also a wire that comes out of that relay box that is black with a blue stripe which is the 12v supply for the fuel pump so make sure you get the right one

Thanks jack_t, I'll try that. Do you know anything about the blue/black/silver one that comes out of the ICU, I think it needs grounding as well ?

take a picture of it and email it to me i cant remember a blue black and silver but if i saw it it might jog my memory
